ACME Accreditation Third Party Comments

The Nurse-Midwifery track of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program of the State University of New York at Buffalo located in Buffalo, NY, will be undergoing review for preaccreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). A site visit is scheduled for September 24-26, 2025 and the program will be reviewed for preaccreditation at the February 2026 ACME Board of Review Meeting.

In accordance with ACME Policies and Procedures, ACME is seeking third-party  comments concerning the qualifications for preaccreditation of the nurse-midwifery education programs at UB. Upon request, comments will be treated as confidential.

Your comments will be included with other program materials during the February review. In all instances, your comments must directly relate to the preaccreditation of the program and adhere to the ACME Criteria for Programmatic Preaccreditation (December 2009, Revised June 2013, August 2019, revised March 2020). This document can be found at .  Please cite the criterion of concern in your comments.

All written comments must be received by August 30, 2025. They can be submitted via email to support@theacme.org or mailed to ACME at 2000 Duke Street, Suite 300, Alexandria, Virginia 22314.
