Faculty Members Can Spread Out Paychecks Through the Year

State 10-month faculty members receiving a paycheck from September until June can request that their salary be paid throughout the year — over 26 pay periods instead of 21 pay periods.
Why Make the Change?
Faculty members who make the change will benefit by receiving paychecks all year including during the summer months and by spreading out health insurance deductions. There will be no change to total salary or cost of benefits.
Please note: 10-month faculty that started in the spring semester with a 21 pay basis are required to switch to the 26 pay basis for the fall. Complete the required form and send to your department head by June 30th.
