Anderson Inside Out is UB Anderson Gallery’s annual summer celebration—an afternoon of art, music, and community for our University Heights neighbors, UB students and faculty, and the broader Buffalo public.
Previously known as the Parking Lot Party and Summer Extravaganza, this free, all-ages event activates both the gallery and its surrounding outdoor spaces with artist vendors, food trucks, live music, hands-on art-making, and more.
As we celebrate 25 years as a public art gallery, Anderson Inside Out is a special opportunity to reconnect with our neighborhood and share the richness of our permanent collection, which spans centuries of artistic practice. Timed to coincide with the University Heights , the event invites visitors to explore the gallery in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Whether you’ve visited before or are stepping inside for the first time, we hope you’ll join us. This day is about breaking down barriers, building community, and celebrating creativity—inside and out.
