Igniting Hope Conference Weekend 2025

Join us for our 8th annual Igniting Hope Conference! This conference brings together faculty, students, community members and trainees to focus on health equity and the social determinants of health. In addition to the conference, there will be three pre-conference optional virtual meetings to set the foundation of the conference. 

Pre-Conference Virtual Series:

This year’s Igniting Hope Conference is focused on implementing a community plan for health equity. To set the stage for collective action, this series focuses on building a shared understanding of how we got here and what we are up against.

The following social determinants of health will be discussed at each virtual session and as breakout sessions during the conference

  • Access to Primary Care
  • Workforce Development: Underemployment/unemployment
  • Housing
  • Access to Healthy Foods
  • Education/Literacy
