Dozens of UB student volunteers will participate in UB’s Fall Community Day on Oct. 27. Partnering with nine different organizations, UB Community Relations organizes this service day to give students an opportunity to help out in the neighborhoods around UB.

The UB Alumni Association will honor alumni and friends who have brought distinction to the university at the 2018 UBAA Achievement Awards program to be held Oct. 12 in the Center for the Arts on the North Campus.

UB will celebrate Homecoming and Family Weekend, two of the most traditional of college events, Oct. 12-14 with a variety of activities for students, their family members and alumni.

Documentary highlighting university-city partnerships will be screened at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 5 at Buffalo's historic North Park Theatre.

The event, which is free and open to public, will explore the past, present and future of artificial intelligence.
