The Office of Alumni Engagement sponsors this annual contest that showcases the school spirit, creativity, and imagination of our graduates. Create your cap and submit it for the chance to win awesome prizes and a grand prize of a $250 UB diploma frame from Church Hill Classics for both Best in Show and Runner-Up winners. 

Showcase your talent and UB pride in one of the following categories:

• Most Creative – unique materials used or novel content design
• Most Inspiring – meaningful quotes or personal stories behind the design
• Most True Blue – UB pride and showcasing of True Blue spirit
• Most Humorous – hilarious memes, funny jokes, find the laughter from your time at UB
• Best in Show – across all categories, the caps that made the judges go WOW

Submit Your Entry Before NOON on May 12, 2025

All winners will be announced via Student Engagement social media on Friday, May 16. 

Graduates earned an entry into our drawing for each Countdown to Commencement event they attended, including Graduating Class Expo, UB Sketched Together, Grad Cap Decorating, Sign-A-Bull, Toast to Class of 2025 (Alumni Tables), UB Founders Day Celebration, and Grad Cap Design Contest. 

Two Diploma Frame Winners to be announced the week of May 12, 2025, via (@ubuffaloFAN).

Your subscription to US-provided software like Microsoft 365 ends six months after graduation. This will not affect you if you are a continuing and actively enrolled student.

• Use UBmail for six months after graduation: Accounts and contents will be removed after six months. Be sure to backup any data you want to save to a personal email.
• Get transcripts anytime: You never lose access to MyUB and HUB, so your UB transcripts and more are always available at myub.buffalo.edu.
• Backup your OneDrive an UBbox files: To save your work from UB, you'll need to download your files and move them to personal storage.

Support the Graduating Class Campaign and earn a philanthropy cord! With your gift of $20.25 to the Graduating Class Campaign, you can:

• Join a Bulls tradition. The Graduating Class Campaign touches every area of campus. No matter your major or extracurricular activities, previous gifts made by students and alumni have affected your college experience.
• Steer the future. By making your gift, you help ensure that future students can create their own unique UB experiences – just like you did.
• Bleed blue. Wear green. Your participation shows your pride in UB and the education you received, setting a powerful example for students and alumni.

Members of the graduating class who support the university with a gift of $20.25— representing their class year—will receive a special green honor cord to wear at Commencement symbolizing their gift to future Bulls.
