About Us

Formally launched in the Fall of 2018, the Â鶹´«Ã½o Institute for Genomic Literacy (IGL) serves as a unique, transdisciplinary hub that convenes faculty and researchers to develop new ways to educate varying diverse populatThe IGL offshoot  from the Genome, Environment and Microbiome Community of Excellence.

    The Â鶹´«Ã½o has three campuses: the North Campus in suburban Amherst, the South Campus on Main Street in a North Buffalo neighborhood and the growing Downtown Campus, encompassing several buildings in downtown Buffalo.
