Postdoctoral Research Symposium

The Postdoctoral Research Symposium showcases the research done by postdoctoral scholars through a research abstract/poster competition. The top three abstract/poster presentations are recognized at the event.

Symposium Details

At the Annual Postdoc Research Symposium, you can make connections, present your latest work, learn about research accomplishments and find resources. 

Registration for the 14th Annual Postdoc Research Symposium is now closed.

Check back in summer 2025 for details about the next symposium.

Who can participate?

Participants at this event must be postdoctoral scholars at one of the following institutions:

  • The Âé¶¹´«Ã½o.
  • Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Care Center.

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, the Graduate School's Office of Postdoctoral Scholars hosted the Tenth Annual Postdoctoral Scholars Research Symposium.

Three-Minute Presentation Winners:

  • First Place: Marie Saitou, Biological Sciences
  • Second Place: Sutanuka Bhattacharjya, Rehabilitation Science

Poster Competition Winners:

  • Second Place: John Tooley, Biochemistry
  • Third Place: Ken Wakabayashi, Research Institute on Addictions
