UB on the Green, UB’s free, outdoor performance series, is back for a 17th season on July 23.
The family-friendly, alcohol-free event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the Hayes Hall Lawn on the South Campus. It’s sponsored by the Office of Government & Community Relations.
Music will be provided by the Buffalo-based progressive rock band Sailing Stones and Fleetwood Mac tribute band Songbirds.
Spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and blankets. Refreshments also will be available for purchase from the Moneybags Dumplings and Lloyd Taco Factory food trucks.
Free parking is available in the Townsend and Parker lots.
"Once again, we are thrilled to celebrate summer on Hayes Lawn with UB on the Green,” says Melissa Wood, assistant director of community relations. “This event is a great opportunity for us to come together, enjoy music, food trucks, prizes and so much more.
"We're especially excited to showcase the incredible talent and highlight the resources UB has to offer, strengthening our connection with the community."
UB staff, faculty and students who would like to present informational tables at UB on the Green can contact Government and Community Relations.
Stay tuned for future announcements!
