Hired: Professional Clothing Boutique
UB coordinates a free professional clothing boutique, Hired, which is dedicated to providing students and recent graduates with gently used apparel, accessories, and personal care items that will help them achieve their career development goals.
More Information Coming Soon! The Hired Boutique will begin taking appointments for the Fall, 2025 semester in mid-August. Please check back soon for more information about our Fall schedule.

Thanks to the support of our community, the Hired Boutique is fully stocked! At this time we can only accept donations for the following items which are in high demand:
- Men’s Professional Shoes (all gently used sizes)
- Men’s Pants: Extra Small (below 28in), Small (28-30in), Medium (32-34in), and Large (36-38in)
- Men's Blazers: Extra Small, Small, and Medium (anything below 42" chest size)
- Men's Shirts: Extra Small (below 14" neckline) , Small (14-14 1/2"), Medium (15-15 1/2") and Large (16-16 1/2")
- Ties
- Laptop Bags
- Women's Extra Small Blazers (size 4 or below)
- Women's Extra Small Pants (size 0-4)
- Women's Extra Small Shirts (size 4 or below)
- Note: We cannot accept items that could be classified as business casual or items that show signs of wear or are stained. Items must be clean and should be purchased within the last 10 years. Most importantly, we ask all who donate to look at their clothing through the lens of helping to ensure our students make a good first impression.
Hired's inventory is supplied through generous donations by community members, and has a wide array of high-quality, contemporary items. Students may try on as many items as they wish and take home one complete outfit per semester.
