About UBReUSE

UBReUSE is a student-run campus waste diversion program supported by UB Sustainability and Campus Living.  The program has two main components, the ReUSE Move-Out Collection at the end of the Spring semester, and the ReUse Market, at the start of the Fall semester. The program captures goods during move-out that are useful but no longer wanted or needed by their owner. UBReUSE's goal is to connect these materials with new owners and reduce the amount of stuff going to landfill.

Clothing and Food Donations

Clothing and food donation information: drop off clothing, shoes, and blankets at a Hearts for the Homeless container around campus. Non-perishable food can be donated to Blue Table, a food pantry at UB.
December Move-Out Donations

UBReUSE does not conduct collections during December move-out.

All clothing and textiles can be placed in any the Hearts for the Homeless collection bins located throughout residential areas.

Household goods can be donated to Goodwill, Savers and the Salvation Army.

If you have mini-fridges and small appliances to donate, please contact UB Sustainability.
