About the Program

The Entry-level Manufacturing Technician training program, offered by the Âé¶¹´«Ã½o’s Center for Industrial Effectiveness in conjunction with Alfred State College, equips students with the skills and hands-on experience needed to begin a career in today’s manufacturing industry.

Through engaging instruction and practical learning, you'll gain a solid foundation in key manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and industry best practices. After completing 240 hours of expert-led training, you’ll transition into a 160-hour paid internship with a local employer—giving you real-world experience and a strong shot at full-time employment.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Cost

There is no cost to complete the training program. Participants may be eligible for a stipend.
