To log in with your ITORG exception account:

  1. Go to
  2. Click the Login button
  3. Enter your account’s User Principal Name. For most accounts, this will be dept.account@itorg.ad.buffalo.edu (where dept.account is the account name for your ITORG account). Contact your distributed IT node if you have any trouble logging in.
  4. Enter the ITORG exception account's password in the Password field, then click Sign In
  5. Review the terms of service and click Agree (first time only)

Common Questions

I shared a folder and files with people outside of UB. How do they log into UBbox to access them?

Collaborators outside of UB with whom you have shared folders and files receive an invitation to create a box account and accept UB terms. They should follow the directions in the email invite to create a free Box account. They will then log into box.com (not UBbox) to view shared files.
