Using a Smartwatch with Duo

Apple Watch and Android Smartwatch may be used with Duo.

Add your smartphone

To enroll your first device, see Enrolling in Duo. To enroll additional devices, see Adding Another Device.

How to use

The Duo Mobile companion Apple Watch app requires Duo Mobile 4.88.0 or later.

To add Duo to your Apple Watch:

  1. In the Watch app on your phone, scroll down to Available Apps and click Install next to Duo.
  2. In the Watch app on your phone, scroll down then tap the entry for Duo. 
  3. Enable Show App on Apple Watch.

Note: You'll only see the Duo request on your watch when your phone is locked. Notifications won't go to your Apple Watch when your phone is unlocked.
