University Police will host its second town hall meeting for the UB community at 1 p.m. July 24 in the Active Learning Center (Room 1220) in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, 955 Main St., Buffalo.

UB on the Green, UB’s free, outdoor performance series, is back for a 17th season on July 23.

“Anderson Inside Out,” the UB Anderson Gallery’s annual summer celebration, will take place from noon to 4 p.m. July 12 at the gallery, One Martha Jackson Place, Buffalo.

Since 2008, student volunteers from the School of Management’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program have prepared more than 11,200 tax returns, bringing nearly $14 million back into the region. Now, the program is being recognized nationally as a nominee for the IRS Pacesetter Award.

Financial Times has ranked the School of Management’s Master of Science in Finance program as one of the best worldwide.

The School of Management’s social impact and community engagement continue to expand and have again been internationally recognized by the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) for Business Schools.

University Police will host a public safety forum for the UB community from 12:30-1:30 p.m. June 24 in 146 Diefendorf Hall, South Campus.

Kristin Stapleton was elected chair of the Faculty Senate and Jaclyn E. Bodack was elected chair of the Professional Staff Senate in recent elections held by the governance groups representing UB’s faculty and professional staff.
