Accessibility

The university adheres to the  to provide an inclusive web experience for all of our users. This includes content, video captioning, alternative text, electronic document accessibility and more. 

ADA Title II

On April 24, 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice published updated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II regulations. This new rule:

  • Includes specific requirements about how to ensure that web content and mobile applications are accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Applies to state and local governments, which includes public universities.
  • Sets a minimum technical accessibility standard of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

UB must comply with these regulations by April 24, 2026.

Submit a Request

Once you determine project scope with your marketing representative, submit the corresponding form. Your request will then be entered into the queue. Your representative will reach out to discuss the next steps and assign an appropriate timeline for completion of your project.

Most Student Life marketing expenditures for units have been centralized and are part of an annual approved budget. Your marketing representative will help you navigate spending your budgeted allocation in accordance with university procurement guidelines and policies.
